The Central Arkansas Water (CAW) Board of Commissioners is seeking letters of interest and résumés from North Little Rock residents interested in serving on the Board. CAW is the largest water utility in the state of Arkansas; about a half-million people in the Little Rock – North Little Rock metropolitan area drink CAW’s outstanding water. The seven members of the Board of Commissioners have the authority to manage, operate, improve, extend, and maintain CAW’s water sources, treatment plants and distribution systems. The Board appointee for the upcoming vacancy will fulfill the remainder of a seven-year term ending June 30, 2028. In accordance with CAW’s governing documents, the Board must consist of four residents of Little Rock and three residents of North Little Rock. The current vacancy is for a North Little Rock representative.
