The Downtown Little Rock Partnership has unveiled a new set of murals featuring Natural State flora and fauna at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center (602 President Clinton Ave.) in the River Market.
According to an Instagram post by artist Jason Jones, who’s based in Fayetteville, the project spans four walls and 200 feet. A press release from the DLRP said that the design was a “collaborative effort” between several divisions of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission who ensured that “all plant and wildlife renderings were correctly depicted and native to Arkansas.” The murals are intended to be used for educational purposes.
