Bach’s Concerto for Flute in D minor, in this performance, shows off the virtuoso technique of the ASO’s own principal flute Carolyn Brown, the only woodwind candidate at the prestigious Eastman School of Music to be unanimously nominated by the faculty for the school’s Performer’s Certificate.
